Senior HR Generalist

Our client is a leading Games provider that just opened a Game Studio in Malta and looking for a Senior HR Generalist to join their team.
The Senior HR Generalist will work with the HR Manager South Europe based in Italy to align their HR initiatives and tasks with business objectives and needs. Duties for the Senior HR Generalist will include relocation management, aligning staff
to business objectives, enhancing staff performance, supporting employee training and development, enhancing
recruitment efforts, planning strategic HR initiatives, maintaining staff relations, manage the documents and the personnel record, provide the relevant information to the external payroll partner.
Key responsibilities:
Relocation of employees from other Studios locations
Onboard and integrate new employee into the Studio according to company's culture and policies
Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
Organize and maintain personnel records an update databases (e.g. Netsuite)
Provide the relevant employee information to the external payroll partner (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Answer employees queries about HR-related issues and provide HR policies/procedures guidance
Oversee recruitment needs and support the selections
Identify training needs, develop training plans, participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention, providing HR guidance when appropriate
Elaborate and analyze metrics and trends in partnership with the HR Manager South Europe to develop solutions, programs and policies

Technical skills:
Degree in Economics, Psychology, or another relevant degree
At least 4-5 years’ proven experience as HR Generalist or relevant role in a multinational company
Advanced knowledge of local labour law
Excellent English both written and verbal
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel in particular)
Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
