Senior Office and Building Manager
Malta
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Office and Building Manager to work in their office located in Malta, who will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of building systems and services. As Senior Office and Building Manager, you'll be responsible for the management of services and processes that support the organisation. You'll ensure that best practices are followed for maximum efficiency and that the most suitable working environment is attained for its employees and their activities.
Contribute to the development and achievement of Malta office medium and long-term strategy, ensuring effective inclusion of employees working in different teams
Read and understand the broader business environment and provide expert and informed analysis and strategic advice to ongoing operations and expected decisions
Contribute to the development of a robust culture through role modelling and the behaviours which drive this culture
Liaise with HR to design and lead initiatives including research and diagnostics (e.g. annual employee engagement survey and exit interviews), to maximise the engagement of all employees and build organisational commitment to the desired culture
Work in partnership with HR on effective internal communications in support of organisational development
Support HR in accommodation for relocated employees
Manage the General Services for the site coordinating with external vendors for what that concerns ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.
Ensure that the facility is clean and maintained.
Ensure security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
Ensuring adherence to office-based policies and procedures
Ensure buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation.
Assisting with onboarding for new starters, ensuring they have received all equipment and furniture required, received health and safety guidance, tour etc
Address employees query regarding office management issues and continuous monitoring of the employee experience
Implementing and maintaining office policies and administrative systems
Liaise with HR to ensure appropriate guidance is followed with all staff matters
Skills & Experience Required
The ideal candidate for this role should have good communication and organizational skills and a previous experience as Office Manager in an international company, possibly in the gaming industry.
Technical SkillsAt least 10 years’ experience as Office Manager in international companies, possibly in the gaming industry
University Degree
Previous experience in maintenance supervision or related field
Fluent English both written and verbal
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
